It can be tied at the back or front.
If you're like me, it's easier to knit from the Left side, I think.

まあ５カ月もかかった肩掛けが終わりまして、こうして無事に見せられてよかったです。間違えて編み続けていて、ほどいたりして３回も右側を編みました。前のショールのような部分は後ろで結んだり前で結んだりしてもいいのです。海の向こうの友達が送ってくれた毛糸だったので、何か特別なものにしたいと思ってました。綺麗なものが編めてよかったです。やってみたい方は左側から編み始めるとわかりやすいと思います。ワンピースも縫いました。
