Sport Jumper

 These two jumpers differ at the waist.

I knitted the one on the left according to the pattern instructions,  and for the one on the right, I skipped the waist shaping and knitted it straight.

The pattern is very simple, and I like the easy sleeve design. If the yarn has a bit of stretch, it might even be possible to knit it using a cotton-blend summer yarn.

If you wish to omit the waist measurement, Cast on 152 sts,  and K1, P1, rib work measures  5 cm, then follows the pattern.

Cable pullover

 Hello, Dear friends. How have you been ?　It has been raining here almost every day ,  the days have been truly exasperating...　

Anyway, I put on the sweater I had just finished knitting yesterday. ( I found the skirt at a second-hand shop.)

 100g left over, so I'm knitting bed socks.

Oh, I've baked cookies,  Nothing beats homemade ones :)　Now I'm looking forward to preparing for winter and seeing the snow.

>> I knitted it straight without shaping the waist, and also omitted the cable pattern on the sleeves. The pattern call for 4-ply, but, I used Sport yarn, so the armhole size is being adjusted. 

Second Ribbed Cardigan

 Hello, The cardigan I knitted in January and wore in February was so comfortable that I wore it almost every day. So, I knitted a second one.

 I used rustic, undyed camel yarn. I'm sure I'll wear this one every day too.

 I like to use a circular needle for the sleeves. 

And the pocket , using scrap yarn and then set aside. After knitted front body, 20 stitches are pick up and knit.

Ribbed Cardigan

 To be honest, I was very bored while knitting this plain cardigan.

But, It is very stretchy and comfortable to wear .

Here is the east side of the garden.

It's good to knit it when you can't decide what to knit next or between projects.

The Pattern from vintage knitting book around 1940.  I omitted "side shapings" .

　I made snow big bear. But, It was pecked by birds immediately . Because I used seeds in eyes and nostrils... !!

Cardigan-coat

 I always regret why not knitting in the summer ? Anyways The cardigan is finished knitting.

 I'm happy to put a new knitwear for new year ( I also sewed the inside dress.) 

I knitted the sleeves to be about 18 inches. The pattern instructions said it was 22 inches long, which is too long for me.　There are no armholes, so adjusting the size was not difficult.

It's a plastic button with knitted cover.

It used 5 of "Beiroa DK yarn and 1 "mondim 4ply yarn.

Lined mittens

 Hello, Did you enjoy your summer vacation ?  It's been awfully hot here with very little rain. Then, Finally cooler here too. I miss the wood fire and frost...!!

I spun some yarn during the summer, 

and knitted mittens for my husband's birthday.

 Unfortunately, the left and right of these mittens are different colors. This is because I grabbed the fleece without thinking.  Although, this is from the same , one sheep's  fleece, and it's a natural gradation.

To increase the warmth, I also knitted a lining. Picked up the same number of stitches and knitted everything except the thumb, completely covering the body of mitten.

Why I didn't notice that we can knit and read at the same time.

Every year I bake a sponge cake with decoration, The year before last it was raspberry with pink cream , last year it was chocolate cream, and this year I chose muscat and simple cream. It was delicious. Anyways my husband was delighted with the warmly gift.

Wendy sweater with patt.

There was something that bothered me a little. To take my mind off, I kept knitting. I finished knitting one sweater, and was able to stay calm. 

By the way, I didn't expect the sweater to be such a classic style. It's would look good with a pearl necklace. 

The most time-consuming part of vintage patterns is adjusting the size, I think. If we can get the specified yarn, maybe that would be less of a problem. In my case, I knit the armholes smaller by changing them quite a bit. 

The yarn " Mondim color no, A586. 2 and 1/2skeins. 

The skirt is the same pattern " Simplicity 1688" as the previous skirt ( of bottle sweater )
