Vintage Emu Blouse no. 337

  I am very happy to wear this lovely blouse, yay !

      The yarn "Mondim" Color No.306

      Needle size UK12, and 11 .

It took me about 2 months to actually knit this one. It lace but wasn't that difficult. 

The blouse is beautiful and there is no mistake if you follow the instructions. but I wanted to omit the sewing process. So the stitch number are matched before sewing yoke together with the front and back body. 

The same reason, about the sleeve cuff, Used a circle. CO,96 stiches ( for bust 33 ins.) and knit K1, P1, rib for 1 inch with loop them. Increase stitches in next row, before starting lace pattern. ( my note written 110 sts. Increased 14 sts. and lace start with circle needle)

I think, a longer length would be more beautiful for tying the collar ribbon. Anyways I'm very pleased with it :) I hope that you find the pattern. 

　とても素敵なセーターを編みました。この時代のは手間を惜しまないのですね。ヨークとカフだけ、縫い合わせる工程を省略するために、ステッチの数をあえて合わせて減らしたり増やしたりしました。パターン通りに編む方が間違いがないですしキレイです。でも慣れた方は、もっと省略できるかもしれません。

追記：編み図は英語で有料でダウンロードやっていたのですが、やめてしまったかもしれません。

In my hand

 Hello, How are you doing ? Is your place getting cooler ? Autumn here was two months late. I sweep up the leaves that the garden trees drop every day.. boo-hoo ! 

 I was sorting in the PC and found some photos I took this spring. I wanted to show you and probably forgot those thing.

My goats sheds a lot of hair, and Wild birds take them to their nests. I like this natural system for baby birds keep warm.

　お元気ですか？やっと秋ですね、毎日落ち葉の掃除をしています。

パソコンのゴミ箱を見ていたら、友達に見せようと思って、そのまま捨ててた写真があったので載せます。最初の写真はヤギの抜け毛ですが、これを野鳥は巣に持っていきます。このふかふか布団で雛がかえると思うと自然って素晴らしいって思いませんか

小さなブーケは庭のあじさい。最後の大きい写真はロックケーキの作り方です。岩みたいなケーキは、ごつごつしているけど軟らかく美味しいです。ぜひお試しください

ふるった小麦粉450ｇ　とき卵2個　室温で軟らかくしたバター160ｇ　黒砂糖240ｇ　洗ったレッドカラント240ｇ

　バターと砂糖をクリーム状になるまでこすり、庭にレッドカラントの実をお持ちの方はここで加え混ぜ、次に卵を少しずつ加えて混ぜる、さらに小麦粉を加えて混ぜ合わせる。（冷凍のカラントの場合は解凍し、最後に加えた方がよさげ）オーブンシートの上にボタっと岩っぽく落として、180度に予熱したオーブンで25分焼く。

半分の分量でも12個くらい作れます

Blue sweater

I have finished knitting husband's blue sweater. 

Does your lover or family ask questions when you knit something ? 

 I would be happy if that question was asked sometimes, of course. But, roughly every day, my husband ask me so often. To be honest, I was annoyed of hearing that question. I didn't understand why. 

One day, I found these sentences in the book. 

" When a man watches a women knitting he feels shut out. She is absorbed by an occupation he cannot share. She is in a sanctuary where he cannot follow. " from people knitting

I was surprised, I didn't know he felt like this. Anyways, After reading it He never asked again... I have mixed feelings. 

 主人の青いセーターが編み終わりました。家族や恋人からよく「何を編んでいるの？」と質問されることはありませんか？時々ならもちろん嬉しいけれど、うちの主人は毎日のように聞いてきます。正直いってウンザリしておりました。ある時、本の中にちょっとした文章を見つけました。「男性が編み物をしている女性を見ているとき、閉め出されたように感じます。彼女は彼とは決して共有できない何かに夢中になっている。彼女は彼が追うことができない聖域にいます。」こうゆう感じか？と尋ねるとどうもそのようなので、ちょっとビックリしました。しかも、それ以来ひつこく聞かなくなりました。まあ良かったのか何なのか、、

Mushrooms cultivation

 Gardening stores in Japan sell small wood part for growing mushrooms. contains mushroom bacteria inside it, so spray water twice a day and be careful to control the temperature. 

Tuesday

The appropriate temperature is 15 to 25 degrees. Autumn is the best season to grow because temperature differences are necessary for growth. 

Friday

And Sunday was the first harvest. What a speed !

　きのこの栽培をやってみました。一日２回霧吹きし、あとは生育温度が15～25度になっているように気を付けます。私のところは薪ストーブで暑くなるので、涼しい部屋に置きました。なるべく温度差がある方がいいそうです。最初の写真が火曜日、次が金曜日、最初の収穫は日曜日でした。ものすごいスピードですね。うまくやれば100個くらい収穫できるそうです。私がやったのは「もりのキノコ農園シリーズ」のしいたけでした。

Swan magnifying glass

 We look forward to walking through the old town and going to vintage shops in the countryside. Some of those stores are full of really old rubbish, and I don't think I'll ever come back. Nevertheless however, sometimes I can find something really good. Authentic, antique and vintage items from the good old days. What I found the other day is this lovely swan of magnifying glass. 

This is not only cute, but also not fake like the modern ones. The price was about the same as one lunch with coffee. With my swan you can see smiling girl among the serious-looking guys in the picture.  ( This old photo was in an old poetry book. Perhaps the first owner used it as a bookmark. )

So, be brave enough to entre an old store in an old town. You might even find something wonderful from a far-off era. Items made in the past are good quality. And I think, things you discover like them are like small bonuses in the life.  

　古い町並みの骨董店やビンテージショップに入るのが好きです。なかには本当にガラクタばかりなのもあって、そういう時は、もう二度と来ないだろうと思う。でも時々やっぱりいい物を見つけるのです。先日は白鳥の形をした虫眼鏡を見つけました。とても気に入ったのは可愛いだけでもなく、現代のような偽物でもないところ。上の写真の中の真面目な顔をした男たちに交じって一人、笑顔の女の子がいるのがわかりますか。（ちなみにこの写真は古い詩集に挟まっていたもので、最初の持ち主がたぶんシオリに使ったと思われます。

こんなふうに見つける物は人生の中のちょっとしたボーナスみたいなものじゃないでしょうか、古いお店があったら勇気をもって入ってみてください。遥か遠い昔からの、なにか素晴らしい物が見つかるかもしれませんよ
